When the bottom drawer is removed, a curtain is revealed behind the drawer and a row of small 
coloured lights come on. A control panel, removed from the drawer, plugs into sockets behind the 
top drawer. A cranking handle, also stored in the bottom drawer, is placed in a pipe behind the 
right hand drawer, and turned to raise or lower the curtain. The control panel is then used to
